Well Connected is a barbershop in the Lower East Side owned and operated by master barber Willis Orengo. Nash has worked with the barbershop on identity design, apparel, neon signage, and photography.

 
 

Neon Capsule

 

Nash created a neon capsule for Well Connected’s 2021 shop renovation. The project included t-shirts, hoodies, and pins. While the storefront received a facelift with custom LED signage on the exterior and interior of the shop.

 

The neon signage represents four key touch points for the WC brand. The original ‘heritage’ logo that founded the company, a new modern ‘WC’ rendition for today’s products, the famous LES address on Rivington and Allen St’s, and the brand motto “Never Disrespected, Plus I’m Well Connected.”

 
 

The apparel collection featured neon-esque screen prints on both hoodies and t-shirts to celebrate the reopening of Well Connected.

 

10 Year Anniversary Capsule

 

Well Connected’s WC monogram and word mark built upon the previous interlocking logo and gave it a facelift for a modern feel. With the barbershop doing collaborations with Fila, J.Balvin, Martell USA, and others, we wanted the design to be simple and clean for all potential applications large or small.
